Stuck in my head~

Character song to Code:Breaker's "code 2": Masaomi HEIKE, voiced by Subaru KIMURA.

Masaomi, also known as "code 2" has the element "Light" and is a downright sadist.... That's as much as I know without watching the anime or reading the manga... (note to self: check it out)

The song is the fourth track of "CODE:BREAKER Character file Vol.2"

restrain=freedom

Notes:
(**1) - Kanji for "eien" is used, meaning “eternity” (there is a subtle difference between "eien" (永遠) and "towa" (永久), but that doesn't matter for these lyrics)
(**2) - Kanji for "shisou" is used, meaning something like “shadow of death”.
(**3) - Kanji for “shinpan” is used, meaning "trial", "judgment", "referee".

restrain=freedom
Heike Masaomi (CV. Kimura Subaru)

If you don’t want restraints, then I’ll break these bonds (*1)

If you fall so far
That you can't even recognize your sins
Then there is nothing left but to acknowledge you're a "bad child"
This is your punishment

Compensation, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth,
And for evil there are eternal restraints
That is kindness

Showtime☆ Let’s start this play
Of judging evil
You, who has seen the deadzone (*2),
There is only one salvation for you
If you don’t want restraints, I'll give you eternal sleep

It’s only left to be exposed
In front of the light
It is impossible to hide in the darkness
Certainly, (it’s) fantastic

What is right and what is righteous is not always
Exactly the same thing
I’ll distinguish them

Showtime☆ The curtain raises on the judge
Judging the judgment as well (*3)
If you’re defeated by evil, I’ll have to deduct points
Be aware of that heavy sin before begging for forgiveness

When you’re arms and legs are bound and you’re no longer able to move
You’ll notice it for the first time – Human destiny
Yes, the meaning of freedom

Showtime☆ Let’s start this play
Of judging evil
You, who has seen the deadzone (*2),
Your salvation
For bad children who do not notice the importance
Of the binding rules guided by the light, there is only punishment
If you don’t want restraints, I'll give you eternal sleep

Notes:
Disclaimer in the first post of this journal.
(*1) - Then I’ll break these bonds / Imashime toite agemashou - Because the kanji, this line also holds a nuance of “I’ll give you a warning”.
(*2) - DeadZone - Meaning by kanji: "shadow of death".
(*3) - The curtain...as well / Sabaki mo...makuaku desu - A better translation would be “Let’s start the trail of judging the verdict as well” – but that ignores the Japanese intentional wordplay and use of JAJJI (=JUDGE - either as verb or noun) in katakana as reading for the word “trial”.
